FYI there were limited MN National Guard patrols paired with MN State Police today on ramps leading into / out of downtown MPLS. Walz is using emergency powers carefully and appropriately so as to not give Trump an excuse to invoke the Insurrection Act. As it turned out today, they were not needed to quell civil unrest. Walz likely cannot use MNG to stop ICE operations without crossing a red line.
